24Hour Lead Inspector Initial Training In-Person April 7th, 13th & 14th, 2026, 8am-5pm
Lead Inspector courses offered at Chem Scope are CT DPH Approved under 20-478. Since Connecticut is an EPA authorized state, the course are also EPA Accredited under EPA CFR 40 745.226 and meet requirements of OSHA 1926.62. Students who successfully complete the initial course are then required to successfully complete a third party certification examination before becoming eligible to be certified by CT DPH.

8-Hour Virtual Asbestos Supervisor Refresher
Applies to all interior work and friable exterior work. Required for maintaining EPA Accreditation and State DPH license for anyone supervising disturbance of > 3 sq. ft. or lin. ft. of asbestos. One day past refresher due date- can’t work in the discipline. Failure to take refresher for 2 years have to take initial again.
