DESCRIPTION:Cost: $180 \nDPH APPROVED LEAD REFRESHER COURSE: \nGENERAL INFORMATION: \nLead Supervisor courses offered at Chem Scope are CT DPH Approved under 20-478-1 through 3. Since Connecticut is an EPA authorized state\, the course are also EPA Accredited under EPA CFR 40 745.226 and meet requirements of OSHA 1926.62. Training is accepted in other states. Check with individual states for any new requirements and added requirements for licensing or certification. \nRefresher courses are required annually in each discipline to maintain certifications. \nLEAD REFRESHER TRAINING DESCRIPTION: \nEach refresher course reviews the curriculum topics of the full-length course listed and in addition\, the following: \n(i) An overview of current key safety practices relating to lead-based paint abatement in general\, as well as specific information pertaining to the appropriate discipline.\n(ii) Current laws and regulations relating to lead-based paint abatement in general\, as well as specific information pertaining to the appropriate discipline.\n(iii) Current technologies related to lead-based paint activities in general\, as well as specific information pertaining to the appropriate discipline.
